Archenemy or Nemesis?
Thanks for stopping by and visiting machobeagle.com. Perhaps you want to hear my mom leave me voicemails? Or know about my running list of archenemies and nemesies to keep me spry into my old age. Or you just want to know what music I am listening to and what books I am reading, regardless, you'll find it all here!

Welcome to Machobeagle!

Learning to slow down and live again

My sisters have started helping with my parents more and that gives me time to enjoy life a bit more... but I've been so busy with my parents and pat and his mom... and when I haven't been busy I worry about how I will be busy because I am taking time to relax.  Honestly, it starts to get ridiculous along the way.

Two parents down

Ugh, Pat and I are currently in a "two parent down" situation.  My dad and his mom are in the hospital and that means we're not ever home, we don't get to eat dinner and we are REALLY tired.

Sacrebleu! Sacrilicious is not the first?

Are we not men?

WE ARE DEVO!

Wait, this is another topic.

1) Our wedding, like Tela Tequila, is a sign of the apocolyse

2) We spent a lot less money and I think people had a LOT more fun

3) Jeeze, this was never meant to be serious EXCEPT the turtle is loving her fruits and worms and the cats cannot get enough of their treats!

Archnemesis or Enemy?

What's the difference?  Well, to be simple and nemesis could fall off the face of the earth and you wouldn't notice.  In fact, you probably want to push your nemesis off the earth in retribution for something they did to you.  An archenemy on the other hand it a part of your core being, the yin to your yang and as such, they know all your tricks and secrets.  You need them to survive as much as they need you but you rue the day you ever met.

An archenemy knows you, understands you, shares your background.  They know how to hurt you.

There are so many things everyone needs to know about you... don't hide it under a bushel!

The Virgin Survey

This is the very first survey on my Web site at jim.machobeagle.com
so I thought I'd make all the questions about your "first time."

Thanks for taking some time to help make my Web site fun!

Ah sweet innocence...

Shut Up Hippy!

in

To quote a fantastic quote from one of my favorite magazines, Bust.

"SHUT UP HIPPY!"

To give some more background this was in a music review for Komeda's great album Kokomemedada released in 2003.  The reviewer had written about a friend asking "Isn't writing about music like dancing about colors?" and the reviewers response was the fantastic retort: "SHUT UP HIPPY!"

Ah, sweet revenge :)
